Teluk Batik & Lumut Waterfront

went back to my hometown on Saturday's afternoon, 17th December 2011 with hubby & our best friend; Ria. spend overnight at my sister's home in Pusing. on Sunday's morning, went to parents house for breakfast & went to Teluk Batik. lunch at 1 of the busiest restaurants there. went to Lumut Waterfront then to Marina Wing to celebrate Mira's birthday (today is Mira's birthday, we celebrate it yesterday coz most of us won't be there for her today). ate ABC & went to Seri Iskandar; my sister's home. went to BG; bought 3 ETS tickets to KL. arrived at KL Sentral at around 9.30 pm. bought something on the way home & arrived safely at around 10.30 pm.

kenduri berjalan dengan lancar walopun me and hubby sampai lewat sket. aku tak tau ETS dah buat pertukaran waktu train and dah dijadikan 3 jenis; Platinum, Gold & Silver. so dah takde setiap sejam 1 train macam dulu... and next time kitorang kena beli awal-awal coz silap haribulan banyak yang dah habis (limited). patutlah adik aku ajak kitorang balik dengan dia je. takpe la, nak buat macam mana. aku pun baru tau...

dapat la jumpa pakcik, makcik, sepupu, anak sedara and opah sedara yang dah lama tak jumpa. selain dari kenduri kesyukuran and cukur jambul anak sedara, hari nie birthday my mom and my parents 35th wedding anniversary. happy birthday, mama! hope you like what i bought for you! happy anniversary, mama & abah! i love both of you!

Restoran Tupai-Tupai, Kuala Lumpur

setelah reunion kali pertama dulu di Delicious, Bangsar Village 2, reunion kali kedua nie dibuat di Restoran Tupai-Tupai, Kuala Lumpur. Uji dah buat reservation last week untuk 10 orang pukul 12 tengah hari.

kali nie, aku tumpang Sitha. sepatutnya Asma menjemput kami berdua di LRT Bangsar. disebabkan dia perlu menjemput Zura and Leen yang datang dari Ipoh dan menunggunya di tol Jalan Duta, hubby Sitha yang hantarkan kami berdua terus ke destinasi. kami sampai dalam pukul 11.30 pagi. lepas tu, baru Uji muncul. kemudian Asma, Leen and Zura. Julie membuat kejutan muncul secara tiba-tiba (last time dia kata ada hal) and Syikin tiba sejurus selepas itu. Emi adalah yang terakhir sekali sampai. kali nie Julie, Syikin and Emi masing-masing berbadan dua. Julie dengan kandungan pertamanya, Syikin dengan kandungan ketiganya (lelaki jugak) and Emi dengan kandungan keduanya.

kami makan nasi putih dengan 8 (atau 9, aku lupa nak kira :P) jenis lauk. Zura order taugeh ikan masin, kangkong sotong, daging black pepper, udang petai, tauhu telur, ikan special and buttered prawn. Syikin order tomyam campur and Emi order nasi goreng black pepper. macam-macam air yang kitorang order; durian belanda, tembikai, kelapa, teh longan, air kosong (tah berapa gelas tah), etc. kami makan sambil bercerita. riuh-rendah la macam biasa bila sekali-sekala dapat berkumpul bersama-sama. akhir sekali kami makan kek (pecan apa tah namanya dari Secret Recipe) yang dibawa oleh Uji khas untuk birthday girl; Asma. makan minum kami di Tupai-Tupai dibayar oleh Zura. dia berkeras mahu belanja kerana sudah lama tak bersua... semua sekali rm340. terima kasih, Zura!

dalam 3.30 petang, masing-masing mintak diri. Emi hadiahkan cenderahati yang dibawa pulang dari Jepun kepada kami semua. terima kasih, Emi! sebelum berpisah, kami bergambar sekali lagi sebagai kenangan. pertemuan yang begitu singkat, tak puas sebenarnya... tapi masing-masing dah ada commitment sendiri tak seperti di zaman persekolahan dulu... entah bila dapat berjumpa lagi...

Uji hantar aku and Sitha ke LRT Bangsar. hubby Sitha dah sedia menunggu di situ. aku dihantar pulang oleh mereka. sampai rumah hujan dah lebat...

sebenarnya aku tak tau nak kata apa... speechless.... perasaan aku bercampur-baur; rindu, happy, sebak, terharu, lega, silih berganti... dapat jumpa kawan-kawan lama memang seronok. lebih-lebih lagi bila dah kenal sejak dari sekolah rendah.... walopun ada masanya kami berlainan kelas tapi kami tetap rapat. semoga persahabatan kami tetap utuh sampai bila-bila... Insya-Allah!

Fast Five, TGV Sunway

pagi tadi plan nak main bowling and karaoke kat Sunway Pyramid. so pakat² berkumpul kat tempat bowling dalam pukul 11 pagi. Man sampai dulu. lepas tu baru kitorang. lepas tu baru Ria. Atie hilang. malam semalam dia kata nak pergi karaoke kat The Mines. kawan² dia suruh dia pergi jugak sebab diorang dah plan nak celebrate birthday dia. so entah pukul berapa la dia sampai Kajang malam tadi. Man kata Atie dah beli handbag yang dia nak sebelum diorang berpisah malam tadi.

kitorang tak dapat nak main bowling pun sebab ada tournament sampai pukul 2 petang. nak pergi karaoke pun masih awal sangat. so masing² pakat nak tengok wayang je, citer Fast Five. ok jugak tu. so beli tiket pukul 12.10 tengah hari. seat banyak yang penuh. yang tinggal seat tengah bahagian kanan je. so ambik je la situ sebab kitorang pun berempat je. masih ada masa lagi. so kitorang lepak kat food court and minum sementara tunggu Atie yang masih hilang. hilang dalam erti kata tak jawab phone and tak reply sms. :P tak lama lepas tu baru dapat contact Atie. katanya dia kat hospital sebab pakcik dia pengsan. so dia suruh kitorang carry on dulu. dah habis tengok wayang nanti, baru contact dia lagi.

nak dekat pukul 12.10 baru kitorang gerak ke TGV. orang agak ramai. penuh! Fast Five memang best! puas hati sangat²! :D hubby pun puas hati. Man and Ria pun puas hati jugak. tak sia² la kitorang tengok. abis je wayang, terus contact Atie lagi tapi still tak dapat. kitorang sebenarnya nak celebrate birthday dia kat Flaming Steamboat tapi birthday girl pun tak sampai². kitorg makan je la dulu sebab masing² dah kelaparan. :P hujan lebat lagi menambahkan rasa lapar... dah selesai makan, try contact Atie lagi. dia dah sampai and ada kat Pyramid. kitorang guide dia suruh ke Flaming je terus. tunggu dia makan and wish happy birthday. sorry, Atie! takde cake tapi ada macam² makanan and desert yang Atie boleh pilih free of charge. thanks to hubby yang baik hati belanja kami semua. hehe!

dah sudah makan, kami pergi Sunway Pyramid balik. Ria nak beli kasut. so kitorang (aku, hubby, Atie and Man), duduk kat bangku luar Jusco tu and borak². lepas Ria beli kasut yang bersesuaian, dia pun mintak diri. yelah esok nak kerja lagi. nak kena balik Putrajaya. so kitorang berpisah dengan Ria. aku and hubby masih borak² dengan Atie and Man. aku luahkan apa yang terbuku di dada. aku jarang dapat jumpa diorang. so kalo aku tak cakap takut nanti aku sendiri yang akan terkilan. aku tak kisah apa pandangan diorang terhadap aku. yang penting diorang tau betapa bermaknanya diorang dalam hidup aku. diorang and Ria amat² bermakna and teristimewa. takde sape yang mampu ubah pandangan aku terhadap mereka bertiga kecuali Allah S.W.T jua...

34th Birthday Memories

last week, it was a memorable & touching week for me. i had so much fun & surprises that i totally forgot all the sadness i've endured for the past years. it was truly a blessing in disguise. :)

Friday, 22nd April was my wedding anniversary. Sunday, 24th April was my birthday. there was a birthday gift sent to me on Saturday's afternoon but since i wasn't at home, i couldn't get it on time. they've planned it quite well & i'm truly touched for their thoughts...

last Sunday's evening, my hubby treated me with a special lunch at Seri Bidara near Flaming Steamboat. the seats were quite full although it was already passed 2.30 pm. it was a self service restaurant, so we took whatever pleased to the eyes. well, we were kind of hungry.

after that, we went to the Sunway Pyramid. since we couldn't watch Rio or Source Code at GSC the day before (Saturday), so we've planned to watch Rio at TGV. we couldn't get the tickets for the 3.20 pm show as it was kind of full... so we bought 2 tickets for the 5.30 pm show instead.

while waiting for the show to start, we went to the nearest A&W restaurant to have a drink & talked about a lot of things. around 5.20 pm, we went straight to the cinema. lots of my FB friends suggest us to watch Rio; my sisters too. the reason why i wanted to watch it so much. Rio is indeed fun! if you love animated movie, then you should go & watch Rio! :D

yesterday's morning i went to the nearest Pos Laju office to get my parcel. i don't know who's the sender & what's inside. i was indeed anxious with all kinds of thoughts. i've a little bit idea of the sender but i'm just not quite sure till i see it with my very own eyes. when i saw the sender's name, i was like, "they've got me!". when i opened the gift wrapped & saw what's inside, i couldn't stopped myself & cried... i can't even express how i feel but it was indeed a very touching moment...

Jessie, Suzanne & Ayam Penyet Ria, Summit USJ

yesterday's morning, i went to see Suzanne. she told me Jessie will be replacing her, so i should consult with Jessie in the future. but then in the end it was Ai Ling who has been guiding me with everything. she even gave me a pedometer for free. thank you so much, Ai Ling! :D

me & hubby didn't celebrate our anniversary coz he was busy working. when he came home, it was kind of late. so we've decided to celebrate it the next day; after my appointment.

we went to Summit USJ as we've decided to watch either Source Code or Rio. unfortunately both shows started kind of late; Source Code at 6.40 pm & Rio at 9.20 pm. the rest of the shows wasn't interesting to watch... so we end up having lunch at Ayam Penyet Ria at the lower ground floor. my hubby ordered set R consist of smashed fried chicken (ayam penyet), a plate of rice, a bowl of soto soup & a glass of grass jelly soy drink (cincau soya). i ordered set A consist of smashed beef steak (empal penyet), a plate of rice, a bowl of soto soup & a glass of grass jelly soy drink (cincau soya). we also ordered gado-gado.

we went back home & arrived before 4 pm. it was raining heavily when we arrived. there was a letter for my hubby & a sticker for me. both were packages sent by someone. supposed to be delivered to us but we weren't at home. so we've to go to the nearest post office (two different locations as stated on both letter & sticker) to pick them up on Monday.

someone on FB had told me (few days ago) that i'll received something this week. nice surprise although i'm still uncertain who's the sender & what's inside it. :D

today is the reunion of ex SMTI batch 93/94. it was held at the Polo Grounds, Ipoh, Perak this morning. i couldn't attend it as i'm not feeling well (at home here in PJ) & my hubby has some work to do (although today is also his birthday). anyway, i did call Yan (the organizer) & she said lots of our friends came. i really miss them... i left SMTI after SPM in 1994. most of them i've never met & lost contact since that day. i truly miss them especially few of my closed friends during those memorable teenage days... i heard from Yan that they came as well. i'm really looking forward to see some photos & videos of the event later. :)

today is Sunday. so happy weekend to those who are resting or spending times with family & friends! & to those who are celebrating the Halloween's event, then Happy Halloween to you! i hope whatever you're doing or planning to do today will end well. :) take care! ;)

Palee's Birthday; Flaming Steamboat Buffet, Sunway

Happy Birthday, Palee! :)

Palee is my brother in law; Ina's hubby. 17th September; yesterday was his birthday. Ina hosted the birthday celebration at Flaming Steamboat Buffet, Sunway Branch gathering all three family together; hers, mine & Man's. in the afternoon, my hubby called for reservation of 6 adults, 2 childrens & a baby. since Palee, Man & his wife were working, he booked for the 10 pm session. as most Flaming fans already know; there are 3 sessions everyday; 5 pm to 7.30 pm, 8 pm to 10 pm & 10 pm to 12 am.

me & hubby followed Man's family. Ina called at 9.41 pm & told us that she had arrived at Flaming. the rest of us arrived before 10 pm. well you can guess the rest; the usual stuff when you went to the steamboat buffet; grab & eat whatever you want. lol! we left when it was about to closed. :P thanks a lot, Ina! :D

that was my forth times eating at Flaming; the first three was always the first session on either Saturday or Sunday. the first time i went there was with my hubby on Saturday. we were placed in front of the counter. the second time also with hubby. at that time, since hubby has made the reservation few days earlier; we were placed on the top floor, near the windows & serving area. the best place in my opinion. :D the third time, my hubby has made a reservation for the same table earlier but since we arrived a bit late & there was a large group of 64 people came in, we were placed behind the counter. i was slightly unhappy when they decided to change our table without notice. -_- from all 4 visitings, i loved the second 1 more than the rest.

my point is, the next time you want to eat at Flaming Steamboat Buffet, booked earlier & arrived early to avoid frustration. oh & btw, Flaming has increased their price again to rm22.80 for adult & rm9.90 for children (5% service charge not included). the last time i went, i was still getting the price of rm20.90 (5% service charge not included). i guess they increased the price after the launched of Setapak branch.

today is her birthday, my dearest sister. we've been closed since kids, sharing a lot of secrets together. i love her, i really do. words can't express much though...

i really want to treat her on her birthday like i've used to when i'm still single. as a full time housewife with no other side incomes, i've to ask my hubby's permission & since he says ok, so i guess today it'll be the day. i'm really looking forward to see her expression.

she laugh when i called her this morning & told her about my plan. it's raining heavily right now. i hope it'll stop by afternoon & i can celebrate her birthday together with my hubby, her hubby & her daughter.
