RydahMS Last Day - RIP

Unfortunately, we are being forced to shut down by Nexon Corporation.
All servers will shut down within 24 hours. - RydahMS

that's what i got when i tried to access the homepage. i was trying to vote as usual & the vote page has gone. forum as well. i login to RydahMS, channel 1 is full. so i went to my favourite channel; channel 10 & took my 1 last time memories with my character. i mean taking screenshot of my things for the sake of the memories. :P

i personally think RydahMS has won my heart as another best private server after GosuMS. GosuMS closed not because of Nexon hunt them down like RydahMS or any other private servers but because of seldom server attack from envious players. well, don't really want to talk about the past but i do miss GosuMS & to me GosuMS is still the best private server i've ever played in my entire life...

from all the smegas i've read in RydahMS, some players were still unaware that RydahMS will be closing soon in less than 24 hours. for most who knows, they were all saying goodbyes to their fellow buddies, parties & guildmates. my guild leader has left RydahMS few months back. most of the members are gone as well. most of my buddies never online for ages. i guess i won't be missing much except the fact that i won't be able to get what i was trying to get due to my own laziness. :P

Once my Favourite MMORPG

my Facebook friends keep sending me a message in my inbox & asking about what MMORPG that i like best. well, i've played so many in the past especially during the BETA days till they officially launched the games. some of it caught my attention a little lot longer than the rest. well, there are still few that i left out but all that i listed here are those that made me addicted for much longer than those that are not listed. you get what i mean. :P feel free to share with me your favourites MMORPG be it FTP or PTP. :D

Ragnarok Online (FTP & PTP MMORPG)

this is the 1st MMORPG i've played. the most memorable 1 ever. i've played when they 1st launched it in Malaysia during AnimeFest few years back in MidValley. the 1 who got me into this game is my very bestfriend, Faril. :D i've met many wonderful friends in RO & they've become my real life friends. :)

the best private servers i've tried are DevilRO & SythRO. they're both RIP. -_-

Maple SEA (FTP MMORPG)

this is my 2nd MMORPG; a 2d with cute characters. i've played Maple Story Global since BETA. it was fun & addicting but as times goes by, it became lag & they have to split the server; 1 for Global & the other 1 for SEA. SEA stands for South East Asia.

after the BETA's gone, i quit playing. from time to time when i miss Maple, i'll play the private servers. the best was GosuMS but RIP. -_-

Ghost Online (FTP MMORPG)

the 3rd game i've played is GO. it's another 2d online game. you'll feel like playing Maple but absolutely this isn't Maple. it has many different features but the 1 who spoil this game is the hackers. there was way too many hackers in this game & i quit after that. i love all my characters in there but it's getting bored...

GO doesn't have any private servers yet. :P

Lineage 2 SEA (PTP MMORPG)

i played for 2 months when they 1st launched it in Malaysia. at that time it was FTP (free to play) & lagless free. i quit when the server became lag & fully quit when they started to charge monthly. L2 SEA is now a PTP (pay to play) MMORPG.

i do play few private servers last time but most of them are RIP. -_- if you've found any interesting private server, please let me know. thanks! :)

Shaiya Online (FTP MMORPG)

i've read it somewhere that this is actually an old MMORPG. it became less popular when Lineage 2 (L2) was introduced to the MMORPG world. i don't know about facts but i do know that the interface is more or less like L2. if you've played L2 before (official or private servers), you'll notice there isn't so much difference.

i've just started 3 fresh characters yesterday. :D

BaldTeam & Zakum

i'm a bit restless since i started to play ms private server. i had so much fun coz the GM likes to make event every day. sometimes i join the event, sometimes i don't. i normally lvling alone or with my hubby & friends.

last night i was invited to join BaldTeam guild. this guild is so talkative. the guild mate are friendly & always help newbie. we had a zakum party. i've been taking a lot of screenshots during the fight but silly me for not checking the default key. they set it to scroll lock & i thought it's print screen. so there goes all my screening effort. all gone! unsaved! lol!

but nvr mind. the most important thing is i only died twice while our tanker died 23 times. haha! first time died due to out of pot. second time died due to replying to the other mage. lol! she died a lot. our bishop gone. from so many people, left only 4 people. but we manage to kill off zakum. too bad, no drop. but it was fun! for your info, that was my first experience killing a zakum. i'm so proud of my character coz my ice lightning arch mage can kill it. i'm still smiling. :D

Maple Story-JulieAnne, my beloved Cleric

As at today, she's lvl 44. God knows when she'll be 45. She has been using wiz wand since lvl 33 until now. Can't wait to use the arc staff...

Fly said he gonna stop playing Maple when school starts. I'm gonna be bored again. Last time he quit his RO due to schools also plus his mom won't let him play. Now his Maple gonna be that way also I guess. Sigh...

His lvl 47 Ice/Lightning wiz; RukiX, his lvl 35 hunter; Nelz & his lvl 31 sin; Estee will no longer be my party. No more party lvling with him...

I used to play in Iris 2. I already quit playing ERO. I can't stand the lagness anymore. Most of my friends also quit. Now all of us playing Maple Story Global BETA in East Gateway.

I have 3 characters in Iris 2; a high priest, hunter & assassin. But I rarely play RO anymore. Now playing Maple Story Global BETA. Got 3 characters also in there.

RO now not only has the black party but also PK server. I've tried PK server, quite easy to leveling but seems easily get bored since anybody can PK u when u lvl 51+.

Offline private server? I used to play a lot last time coz wanna see how certain skills being used by certain job... Online private server tried once.

My hubby also play ro. We're both in the same guild. Hunt things together, MVP together & lvling our characters together. But not all the times ler... Coz sometimes I need to party with other people also when he goes to work... Hehe!

Saya main Priest dari tahun lepas bulan September atau Oktober rasanya. 14 September tahun ini baru berjaya menjadi level 99. Lambat tu! Ramai yang udah level 99 dalam masa 2 3 bulan aja. Tak perlu tunggu hampir setahun macam saya. Agak susah hendak main bila server selalu aja lag. Buru MVP pun asyik mati aja.

Hunter paling senang naik level. Saya buat hunter dari bulan Februari atau March dan sekarang udah level 93. Tapi memang perlu priest kalau mahu cepat naik level.

Assassin juga agak lambat naik level. Berhari² main pun susah hendak dapatkan 1 level. Tapi kalau party dengan hunter atau wizard, agak cepat sikit naiknya daripada biasa.

Apa² pun, Ragnarok memang seronok dimain. Tidak kira kita lambat atau cepat naik level. Kawan² pun ramai di sana. Selalu ada aktiviti yang boleh dibuat bersama. Betul kan? ^_^

Malaysia juga ada Ragnarok Online tapi masih baru. Baru tahun lepas pelancarannya; bulan September di Kuala Lumpur. Sudah ramai yang level tinggi², saya ni baru aja naik level 99. Kami di sini ada 2 server utama, English & Malay.

English server = Iris 1, Iris 2, Penril, Odin, Thor

Malay server = Chaos, Loki, Lidia

Saya main di Iris 2. Dulu pernah juga main di Penril tapi sekejap aja. Di Indonesia pula bagaimana? Ada berapa servernya? Udah berapa lama ada di sana?

Before Iris server exists, I play knight & merchant in Chaos. In Penril, I have wizard, swordman & acolyte. After Iris server exists, I play knight, mage & aco. Before Iris server splits, I have priest, assassin & archer. Then when the server splits, I play in Iris 2. In Iris 2 I have priest, assassin & hunter. If episode 8 get 2 extra slots, I may be making knight & wizard.

What character u still play in Iris 1?

I play Megaman Battle Network only; from part 1 until part 3. I hvn't try part 4 & 5 yet. Some people don't like that kind of game. I like it coz it's like a story. Then long time didn't play megaman battle network after i know RO.

Hi Lingga! :)

I'm fine too... It's ok, your SPM is more important. So study should comes first. The rest, just leave it for a while.

About the hard time during leveling, well if we leveling alone, we'll easily get bored and tired. But if we leveling along with friends or party members, it'll be more fun.

As for me, when my character reach level 80+ it's kind of hard to level up. You don't want to lose EXP yet you easily get bored because anywhere you go, the EXP seems not worth it for you. But you want to see your character go further. So you have to forget about the little EXP you get.

I am proud of all my characters; a lvl 96 full support priestess, a lvl 89 critical equipment assassin & a lvl 85 falcon huntress. It takes time to level each characters but you yourself must love your characters. People can say whatever they want. But if you can prove they're wrong, they'll keep quite.

So far RO is the most addictive game I've ever played. Only God knows when I'll stop playing it.

In RO I had friends who except me as what I am. They didn't disgrace other people by their age, sex, race, religion or country. Some of them, I've met in real life who end-up becoming my best friends. We still contact each other outside the RO world; sharing news, stories, knowledge, etc. Sometimes they give me a call just to say hi. Sometimes we plan a get together at certain place; eating, chatting, bowling, watching movies, etc.

What so good about RO? It makes me feel good. It makes me feel happy. It filled my emptyness when I'm bored. It send me few good friends. If one day I stop playing RO, I still have all those friends who will always except me for being me.... :)

I play in Iris 2 server since the server splits. My real name is Nuriza. My friends usually call me Iza. In Iris, people call me Lisa & Melly.

I'm 27th years old, married for 4 years with no children. My hubby going to be 30th this coming October. He also plays in Iris 2 server. We both really excited to get married in Prontera after Sakura Romance patch this Tuesday. Hehe!

I'm a full time housewife. So, I usually stay at home. Once a month, my hubby & I usually join our Internet friends for bowling, cinema, eating out, etc.

How about you, Lingga? Are you still studying or working? What do you do during your free time? Since when you started to play RO?

I started to play RO since being introduced to it at the Anime Festival event in Midvalley Megamall last year. My hubby starts playing few months after that. We are so addicted to it. So only God knows when we will stop. Hehe!

The Arrival of RO Secret Agent

Gameflier has decided to open another server; PENRIL in ERO on next Thursday, 6th November soon after their regular maintenance. So there isn't any RO secret agent. Just a new ERO server to soothe the congestion problem & enhance the connection quality of the English server.

For existing players, you can use your current ID & Password to create another legendary hero or heroine in Penril directly.
