You may be overly rigid in your thinking today, especially if you know an easier way to get the job done. It seems as if you will be amply rewarded for the work you do now, but you may not have the motivation to follow someone else's lead. You can see the benefit of doing things their way, but you have your own ideas about how to reach your goals. Keep in mind that it may be smarter to acquiesce and save the real battle for something more important.
