Although you may appear calm and collected to others now, you are a good example of why we are cautioned not to judge a book by its cover. Beneath your placid veneer, you could be a jangled tangle of nerves today yet you will likely keep the noise to yourself. Instead of trying to settle your thoughts, give yourself permission to be entertained by them without having to do anything at all.
