Processed Foods Are Bad! Period!

i never really care about the health benefits on whatever i've consumed till i met Mary last year. my life has changed since then... i've been eating unhealthy foods most of the times for years. i know it's bad for my health but i never really care... :P but since my first intense debates with Mary, i've been a bit conscious about my health till now. it was never too late to realize my own mistakes right? i've been reading many articles about foods & seeing lots of people with health issues. i've been seeing lots of nutritionists too.

from all the infos i've got since last year, 1 thing is certain. any processed foods is bad for my health. eating natural foods (organic is better) such as eggs, chicken, fish, fruits & veges & drink lots of plain water are my healthier options. say no to fast foods & junk foods!

most people can't resist processed foods (cereals, breads, cakes, pastas, ice creams, biscuits, cookies, chips, crackers, pizzas, pastries, desserts, candies, sweets, chocolates, sausages, jams, jellies, sodas, soft drinks, etc) in their life. so if you crave processed foods, try to limit it to once a week. it's hard at first but sooner or later you'll be able to resist it.

i've stopped drinking any flavoured drinks & eating any ice creams since last year. those two are what i crave most for years & i'm glad i can still resist them till now. same goes with other processed foods. i don't know if i can resist them for my entire life but i'll try to eliminate them from my daily meals as much as i could.

why am i doing this? my friends even said my life is less enjoyable by limiting myself from eating what i used to love. well, it's for my own good! it may seems too late or too weird for others but for me it was never too late or weird. although i won't be able to see Mary anymore, i'll never forget what she has told me countless times. thanks a lot, Mary!

processed foods are indeed bad. don't believe what you see on the seal packages or boxes or during tv commercial breaks. those are put there just to blind you. but if you still wanna eat those processed foods, i won't hold you. eat what you wanna eat as much as you want coz it's your own body. the one who'll suffer sooner or later is still you... & when that happened, don't say i've never warn you! :P

processed foods are bad! period! you don't have to believe me. do your own research. find some nutritionists & ask them. read some health books & health articles. consult your doctor. don't wait till it's too late to regret... till then, take care! ;)


p/s :- i'm not a nutritionist. this is my personal point of view after seeing many nutritionists & doctors. i'm sharing what i've been told. please seek a professional who is licensed or knowledgeable in health & nutrition in your area. thank you!
