You may not be very receptive if someone places emotional demands on you today. You can get quite defensive when others make assumptions about your availability without even asking you. Nevertheless, it's not a good idea now to put up resistance just because you want to remain detached. Ultimately, you will feel better about yourself if you help out as much as you can, without allowing your negativity to stand in the way.
