It's tough to know whether to listen to your friends or just act on your own volition without waiting for anyone else's advice. There is no right or wrong approach now; both strategies have their pros and cons. But even if you're sure that you know what you're going to do, it still doesn't hurt to consider another point of view before initiating action.
