Concentrating on the tasks right in front of you today might temporarily take the pressure off the larger issues you are wrestling with, but diverting your attention isn't the answer. Fortunately, you can get a lot accomplished now and there's certainly nothing wrong with that. But once you check off enough tasks on your to-do list, you may want to come back and think about your long-term goals, even if you don't reach any permanent conclusions.
