You have an uncanny ability now to know what to do at work, even if your plan seems to go against the prevailing opinion. Don't worry about trying to convince others that your way makes the most sense now. They probably won't believe you anyhow. Just let them know that you have the authority to do what you are doing. You'll gain the necessary respect once everyone realizes that you can do the job.
