You may want to spend money on something you don't really need or, perhaps, take a quick weekend getaway. But reality dictates that you might not have the excess cash for a discretionary purchase nor the time available for a vacation. Don't get discouraged, for there's a silver lining in the dark cloud. Concentrating your energy on a creative project that will make you feel good about yourself is better than the temporary pleasure of any escapist behavior.
