Popularity is incredibly overrated, so don't make any choices today based on achieving it! Pleasing the masses is no great feat in life -- after all, appealing to the lowest common denominator just means you are expecting the least out of other people, and that's not your usual philosophy. Instead, stick to your own beliefs and desires, no matter how off the wall you might think they are. You're better off staying in a small crowd of like-minded folks.
