You can stand strong today and others will recognize that you have the power to get things done. Your co-workers will naturally support your ideas because they want to be part of a winning team and they believe that you will succeed. Don't abuse your position. If your actions arise from selfish motivations, you will likely lose the following you've gained. But you can go far now if you work toward the common good.
