'Mutual respect' may feel like an endangered phenomenon today when you are forced to deal with someone who thinks using arrogance is a great way to impress someone. Luckily, the encounter will be fairly brief. You can try to teach them how to be more down to earth if you really want to, but it might be much more amusing if you just let them behave the way they want to behave and just walk away, laughing. They'll learn their lesson eventually -- without your help.
