Sometimes you don't understand why others have to be so intense, yet a friend or co-worker seems unable to let go of a feeling today and it can be quite annoying. Although you might try to logically correct him or her, it may be a study in futility. Your interactions become easier when you finally realize that you don't have to empathize with anyone else. All you need to do is listen.
